Job description
JURISolutions is partnering with our law firm client in Wilmington, DE to identify paralegals with at least three years of experience in mass tort litigation, specifically in the state of California. This is a full-time, permanent role which will be a hybrid of remote and in-office work. Salary 60K+ depending on experience
Fundamental tasks include:
Serve as the main point of contact for clients and vendors, communicating professionally over telephone and in person
Handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence via electronic and paper mail for assigned cases
Relay messages and track all communication with clients
Maintain case calendars
Process authorizations requesting medical/collateral source records
Perform legal research using various research tools, including the Internet, Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER and various public-access websites
Bluebook, cite-check and proofread legal documents to ensure proper formatting and compliance with local and federal court rules
Organize client documents and coordinate document productions
Assemble and collate exhibits and legal documents
Prepare, schedule and attend deposition proceedings including retention of court reporters, preparation of witness files, digesting transcripts and maintaining original documentation
Prepare summons and complaints, answers to interrogatories, fact sheets, exhibit lists, subpoenas, and supporting materials for filing with the court.
