Southwire Job Description
Job Summary/Objective:
The strategic account manager position will assist in expanding sales in the OEM group. This individual will be
responsible for assisting the field sales reps with their identified strategic customers, targeted new customers, and
strategic projects. This individual will provide back office and front-line support to account managers, RSMs, and
Product management as well as end customers.
Key Responsibilities
·Maintain high level of proactive communication with strategic customers.
·Manage and coordinate daily routines of customer service including but not limited to quotes, order
expedites, change orders, and order status updates.
·Provide sales analysis for each RSM.
·Maintain data base for sales opportunities and projects.
·Support OEM projects by monitoring production, inventory, and shipment status while proactively
communicating to customer.
·Manage customer data within CRM system.
·Assist in customer presentations.
·Assist RSMs with sales activities at customer sites and/or trade shows.
·Provide internal and external training on products, systems, and/or services.
Education, Experience, and Skills
Required
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's
