The Concrete Superintendent be the primary leadership for all concrete activities on site. Overall responsibility for project field execution including safety, profitability and quality, while representing and protecting Christman Southeast Constructor's interests.

1. Reports as required to the Operations Manager
2. Responsible for recruiting, scheduling, and training new tradesmen.
3. Responsible for project safety include inspections, TAG's, pre-task analysis and interface with Director of Safety. Ensure appropriate Safety training and awareness is administered daily
4. Study, review, interpret and thoroughly understand contract/project documents including submittals, shop drawings, drawings, specification, project documents, work scopes, work categories and subcontractor/vendor scopes
5. Complete daily reports and timecards EVERYDAY
6. Communicate effectively and professionally with the architect, engineer, general contractor and/or construction manager as needed
7. Work with project team to develop project work plans and schedules. Review work plans/schedules on a weekly basis with the Project Manager, and Operations Manager.
8. Assist with generating RFI's and project changes including communicating any changes with the field
9. Maintain appropriate levels of manpower to maintain schedule and maximize profits
10. Work closely and cooperatively with the Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager and/or Project Engineer to ensure project goals are met
11. Coordinate with other subcontractors to ensure efficiency
12. Sound the alarm in the event of an issue
13. Work with Project Manager to track costs including weekly productions
14. Estimate, order, sequence and report all materials necessary
15. Attends all LDP meetings

Required Education and Experience

Skilled trade with Carpenters, Laborers, Finishers or Operators. Requires a minimum of 10 years' construction experience.

Work Environment This job generally operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, smartphones, iPads, photocopiers, video conferencing and presentation screens.

Expected Hours of Work This position regularly requires flexibility in adapting to deadlines, changing schedules, priorities and unpredictable events. Occasional unscheduled overtime and weekend support is required.

Travel Travel is limited and primarily local during the business day, although some projects may require more out-of-area and overnight travel.

Required Education and Experience

1. Five (5+) or more years' of relevant work experience or proven established work history for the position.
2. High School Diploma or GED, or proven ability to adequately fulfill the position.

Preferred Education and Experience

1. Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, and other relevant course work, and two years of experience in a supervisory role.
2. OSHA 30-hour

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

1. Minimum OSHA 10-hour trained and CPR certification
2. Understands all aspects of Christman Southeast Constructor's Safety Procedures including achieving all required Safety Certifications.
3. Must understand all Christman Southeast Constructor's Policies and procedures.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

The majority of work is completed outside at the construction site and in an office trailer where the project is monitored, and daily decisions are made about construction activities. The position is often exposed to sounds and loud noises, such as construction equipment. The job requires the wearing of protective equipment when on the construction site (hardhats, safety glasses, and highly visible clothing). Temperatures and conditions may vary depending on the weather and seasons. As part of our focus on being a Great Place to Work , we want to make sure we are clear on a few more basics we ex pect:

• Ability to occasionally stand, walk, sit, reach (with hands and arms), climb, balance stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to talk, hear, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, be able to use a telephone and operate a keyboard.
• Be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
