Job description
Job Summary: The Fleet Coordinator oversees the management and operation of the company's vehicle fleet, focusing on maintenance, regulatory compliance, safety, and efficient fleet utilization
Key Responsibilities:
- Fleet Management and Maintenance: Schedule and manage maintenance and repairs for all fleet vehicles.
- Compliance and Documentation: Keep comprehensive records and ensure fleet operations comply with all regulations.
- Cost and Performance Monitoring: Monitor fleet expenses, conduct utilization and mileage reports, and track driver performance.
- Vendor and Insurance Relations: Maintain relationships with insurance agencies, collision centers, and other relevant vendors.
- Safety and Training: Implement safety policies, conduct driver training, and educate drivers about fleet functionality and benefits.
- Inventory Management: Manage vehicle assignments and perform regular inventory checks.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with other departments and senior leadership regarding fleet assignments, changes, and management.
- Reporting and Presentation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on fleet status for management and conduct educational sessions for drivers.
- Technology Utilization: Use fleet management software to optimize fleet operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience in fleet management or a related field
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Office setting with field visits for vehicle inspections and vendor interaction. Includes a rotating on-call schedule for fleet emergencies.
