The Senior Quality Manager will lead a global team that will advance quality systems and partner across all functions.
AS A SENIOR QUALITY MANAGER, YOU WILL: - Streamlining and continually improving existing quality policies, procedures, and instructions
- Integrating technical excellence into every aspect of the project lifecycle
- Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Product Safety, and Supply Chain throughout the product lifecycle
- Developing and maintaining documented information that reflects Electronics and Controls Management System that meets the requirements of ISO 9001, coordinating internal technical audit teams and quality certification processes as well as additional agency requirements such as: CSA, ASME and PED as examples.
- Leading the Quality team of Quality Engineers and Supplier Quality Engineers.
- Functionally leading Facility Quality Managers in Mexico, Canada (Montreal) and El Paso.
- Interacting frequently with the Quality team for US/Eupore to share and standardize best practices.
- Coaching and developing direct reports as well as setting expectations on the development of all quality professionals globally
- Providing direction on the development of solutions to problems which have been defined, but where investigation is often required to clarify possible complex interfaces and solutions desired.
- Applying continual improvement principles and techniques, using data analysis, understanding, and applying statistical methods (DMAIC, 5S+1, 8D, Process Capability Analysis, SPC, MSA, FMEA, Lean techniques, etc.)
- Providing the quality and reliability related requirements/metrics as part of the New Product Development (NPD) process and the related phase/gate reviews
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS: - Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Plant Quality Manager
- An additional 3 years’ experience leading, implementing and managing enterprise-wide Quality Management Systems for large-scale, global, matrixed organizations.
- Extensive experience in and knowledge of quality management principles and methodologies including ISO 9001, Six Sigma and Lean
- Strong proficiency in project management approaches and tools
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Experience partnering closely with and advising senior leadership and executives.
- Proven problem solving and root cause identification skills.
- Strong analytic and decision-making abilities
- Proven ability to influence others, work effectively with all levels in an organization, and move teams toward a common vision or goal.
- Ability to travel and work together with the plant locations, customers and suppliers to resolve difficult quality or reliability problems with complex product components, processes, or materials.
- Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
- The ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Education, Experiences & Skills - MBA or related advanced degree
- HVACR Industry Experience
- Member of American Society for Quality (ASQ), Certified Quality Engineer, Quality Manager, or Reliability Engineer
- Speaks Spanish

SCHEDULE: We offer the flexibility of a core hour work schedule. Employees can flex their start and stop times given they are working during the core hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm. Our teams work together to ensure their chosen work schedules are supporting our customers. This role has a travel requirement of 25% of its time.
