Job description

Essential Functions

• Maintain concrete block forms (structurally) 
• Strip, clean, oil and close forms 
• Pull structure ensuring no damage to form or structure
• Ensure reinforcement is properly installed
• Clean plant daily, sweep, keep area tidy and safe
• Vibrate concrete forms with 15lb handheld vibrator 
• Assist load and unload material and product as needed
• Maintain inventory of material and condition of forms
• Maintain a positive attitude towards work and the team 
• Follows appropriate environmental rules and regulations 

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. 

Work Environment 

• Work performed in a concrete plant with varying temperatures. 
• Some work required outdoors in weather conditions.

Physical Demands 

• Must be able to lift and/or maneuver around a facility and grounds a minimum of 50lbs. throughout the workday, as required 
• Load/unload/carry materials and tools multiple times throughout the workday 
• Must be able to perform the essential duties of the job efficiently and safely 
• Must be able to work flexible hours as necessary. Some Saturday work possible 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday. Occasional early morning, evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. 

Required Education and Experience 

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
• Related work experience
