Job description
Openwork is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Service Technician opportunity for a Heavy Industrial Equipment Supplier and Logistics Company in Duluth, Ga. As a Service Technician you will be responsible for providing technical repair and service work in the field or facility. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below!
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
*Traveling Required* Responsibilities for this Service Technician position include: - Diagnose and repair broken or damaged equipment.
- Install parts and hardware while ensuring they work correctly and safely.
- Educate users on best practices for use and maintenance of their equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service when working with customers.
Qualifications:
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude.
- Team Player and Positive Attitude.
- Must be able to travel 2 weeks out of the month. Will travel to different states.
- Must have clean driving record.
- Must be able to speak fluent English and comfortable interacting with customers.
- Must have computer literacy and proficient in Excel.
- Candidates must be open to ground up training. Will work in different departments of the facility to learn and understand the business operations before transitioning to a service technician.
