Position Summary:This is manual work at the journeyman level in the repair, maintenance, and installation of flashings. Work involves repairing, maintaining, and removing roofs. Assignments are received through oral instructions prior to and during the progress of a job. Work is reviewed while in progress and upon completion.

Duties/Responsibilities:Inspect composition shingles, slate shingles, roofing tiles, built-up and metal roofs for leaks.

Duties/Responsibilities:Repair flashings around roof top, equipment curbs and penetrations.

Duties/Responsibilities:Install flashings, curbs, roof insulation, felts, bitumen coatings. Apply cold process roof coatings and penetrations. Remove old roofs as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:Respond to calls about leaks during heavy rains. Determine roofing materials needed for repairs.
