Job description
GN/RN positions are available for The Washington Hospital, located in Washington, PA and WHS-Greene, located in Waynesburg, PA.
The graduate nurse provides and manages nursing care for an assigned specific population of patients and families to achieve stated clinical and organizational outcomes and is responsible for using the nursing process in the care of patients/families including education along the care continuum. The graduate nurse collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to ensure safe, timely, efficient, and effective care that responds to the individual needs of the patient/family. The graduate nurse is responsible for meeting and maintaining established patient/family care and professional practice standards and directs and oversees care provided by assistive personnel through delegation, evaluation, and coordination to ensure patient/family needs are met. Hours per Week: 24-40 hours (candidate preference) Shift: Must be able to work rotating 12 hour-shifts (630a to 7p and 630p to 7a) Student nurses graduating from a REGISTERED NURSE PROGRAM within six months of the application are encouraged to apply. #ZR #IND123Job tags
