Old Republic Bank ServiceNow Platform Engineer
Contract to hire
Hybrid onsite 3 days/week St Louis Park or Eden Prairie MN
Team:
- 2 people currently on the ITSM/ITOM ServiceNow environment
- Potentially gain 3 additional head counts, growing the team to 5 resources.
Project:
- They have been purchasing and implementing new ServiceNow modules and licenses (ITSM, ITOM, Financial, etc). They have workflows built for requesting equipment, opening tickets, etc.
- They are now looking to develop workflows for business processes as they relate to things like procurement, vendor management, legal documentation, etc.
- This is a newer push for ServiceNow as well and they are rolling out new capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the face of the ServiceNow team to collaborate with other internal ONB teams on workflow needs and gather requirements (ex. Could be meeting with a paralegal from the legal department who needs a workflow built to send out contracts for approval)
- Build business process workflows within ServiceNow & collaborate on additional iterations as needed
- Workflows that will be outside of customers or ITSM or ITOM
- User opens a request
- Document the needs
- Assign resources to assist
- Customers could be anything from legal team members, tech writers, etc. from internal facing users
Must Haves:
- 3+ years of overall ServiceNow experience should have experience with tools like FlowDesigner and AppStudio
- 6+ months experience developing business process workflows ok if they come from an ITSM/ITOM background
- Experience with scripting within ServiceNow for configuration any scripting language is ok
- Strong soft skills will be the face of the team internally and will be very collaborative across other teams as needs arise
Certs/Education & Background:
- ServiceNow Developer certification is a plus
- ServiceNow System Administrator certification may also be beneficial
