Job location: Strongsville, OH 44149
2nd Shift - 3:30pm to 12:30am
3rd Shift – 11:30pm to 8:00am – Monday through Friday (training will be on 1 st shift – 7:30am to 4:00pm)
Compensation: $20.00 to $22.50 per hour + 0.50 shift differential

Education / Certifications: H.S. Diploma or GED required.
Required Experience:
- 1 or more years of experience machine operation experience within a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to read a micrometer and tape measure.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior printing press experience
Job Summary: Operates VCI roll coating machine, on a flexo press, for applying a coating and print graphics across a substrate.
Job Duties:
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area/warehouse.
- Maintains a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and incidents, while maintaining quality standards
- Identifies poor quality material and notifies the supervisor and/or Quality Control
- Responsible for recording jobs into computer with correct usage to maintain inventory.
- Flags splices and problem areas
- Check VCI coating levels to ensure an appropriate amount is applied.
- Check print heads/printed material to ensure a legible print is present.
- Identify equipment needing repair and notify supervisor/team lead.
- Must be willing to work in other departments and/or areas and complete miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma and/or equivalent
- Printing press experience is preferred.
- Must have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Must be able to keep up with production standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and good follow-up skills
- Must possess good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact in a professional manner with coworkers and other departments.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to work as team member or independently.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Must be able to lift to 50lbs.
- Must be able to read a micrometer.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours with some bending and lifting involved.
