THE BIG PICTURE

Believers Bible Church (lufkinbible.org) is seeking a full-time Senior Pastor to preach the Word of God and shepherd the people of God.

QUALIFICATIONS

Meets the requirements of an elder as specified in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9.
A Masters of Divinity or equivalent.
A working knowledge of Hebrew and Greek.
Agrees/supports the doctrinal statements contained within the Believers Bible Church (BBC) Constitution: https://lufkinbible.org/about/church-constitution.
Knows their spiritual gifts.
Endorses our mission statement: Energizing Lives with the Word so that Christ is prized, praised, pursued and proclaimed.
Supports a strong missions program.
Strongly holds to a traditional dispensational theology.
Firmly holds to a free grace theology.
Expositional preacher.
Loves God’s people.
Devoted to personal prayer and strongly encourages corporate prayer.
Willing to minister through visitation of the elderly and those hospitalized.
Committed to personal Bible study and spiritual growth.
If married, has a family supportive of husband/father in the ministry.
Willing to work within the pastoral-eldership leadership team.
Age: Greater than 30 years.
Has ministry experience.
Desires to connect with people of all ages and stages of life.
Capacity to assess and nurture congregational health.
