Senior Financial Analyst
Petaluma
$90,000 to $110,000 annually
Nelson Connects is proudly partnering with a well-established CPG company to find a Senior Financial Analyst. As a key contributor, this role will be responsible for building valuable insight into key business drivers and impact decision making. Main Functions Include:
- Provide analysis of depletions, shipments, pricing, incentives, and promotions.
- Support forecast process for cash flow and balance sheet; create monthly P&L
- Lead revenue forecasting and variance analysis process.
- Update financial forecast models used to budget revenue, cogs, and opex.
- Create departmental forecasts & monitor throughout the month to land within targets, perform variance analysis, and determine root cause to address variances.
- Responsible for capital planning & overhead model & analysis.
- Present financial data to executive staff and department managers
Ideal qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Minimum 3+ years as Financial Analyst, or similar level role preferred.
- Experience working in the manufacturing industry a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, ERP software experience preferred.
This is a full-time position offering an excellent benefits package and hybrid flexibility. Remote applicants will not be considered, must be able to commute to Petaluma office at least two days a week.
