$32.19/hr minimum - $48.29/hr maximum (range increases based on education, experience and certifications)

Oversees and coordinates the activities of staff and patient flow Ultrasound. Monitors the adherence to all diagnostic imaging policies, procedures, services, and staff education. Assists with day-to-day decisions within or for the department. 

Role Specific Responsibilities

• Serves as student clinical instructor/liaison
• Responsible for coordinating student competencies, paperwork and regular meetings with students
• Coordinates work and patient flow to utilize staff efficiently
• Assists manager with staff scheduling
• Provides input on staff performance/evaluations
• Assist with the development, and delivery of, training for new staff while providing input on onboarding processes
• Performs clinical duties as needed
• Writes, updates, and implements protocols in coordination and alignment with Radiologists
• Super user for common Imaging software functions such as Epic and PACS
• Participates in Lean initiatives by taking part in developing metrics, engaging staff, being a part of GEMBA walks and leading team huddles
• Assists manager with daily operations of the assigned departments
• Ensures quality control procedures are complete and within acceptable ranges, maintaining proper documentation and archive of them

Education

• Associates degree in radiology or Imaging related field

Licenses and Certification

• Certification in modality serving as Lead Technologist required
• BLS

Experience and Skills

• Technical Experience: 2 years required
• COVID Vaccinations
