Job description
A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm is seeking a Testing Technician to help them ensure the performance and quality of their building envelope testing projects at their Honolulu, HI office.
Your Day Includes:
Conducting field reviews of new construction and rehabilitation projects to confirm compliance with design documents and approved mock-ups
Preparing site visit reports and tracking the resolution of outstanding deficiencies
Conducting periodic site observations and field testing
Representing the firm at external client meetings
Performing assessments of existing buildings and preparing building envelope assessment reports
Must Haves:
Excellent technical skills and knowledge of standard practices in engineering and building envelope testing
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong commitment to customer service
Good computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
