Job description
Meritus Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive and up-to-date pain management care for our patients. The right person will be joining a busy and collaborative practice with established physicians and mid-levels. We look for this person to be able to perform all functions of the job description which covers: performing a diagnostic clinical evaluation, refer for appropriate intervention, procedure(s), physical therapy and engaging other specialists. Must have a strong background with monitoring prescription drugs, review relevant imaging and diagnostic tests, maintain accurate patient records, implementation of appropriate treatment plan, and being a team player. We are willing to train the right nurse practitioner who has experience and shows a drive to learn.
Minimum Qualifications: Education - Masters in Nursing required. Doctorate Degree in Nursing Preferred. Completion of a Certified Nurse Practitioner program. Experience - Five years experience as a Registered Nurse. One year experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred. Licensure/Certification - License to practice as Nurse Practitioner in the State of Maryland required. Current DEA Registration and CDS permit required. Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy required. ACLS and PALS (if applicable) in compliance with policy required. For Wound Center only, ACLS in compliance with policy required.Job tags
