The Division of Family and Community Services has an exciting opportunity for a Clinician to join the division's Developmental Disabilities Program. This position is located at Central Office in downtown Boise, and will serve Ada, Canyon, Elmore, and Gem counties. The Clinician will work in Idaho's START Program, a community-based initiative that works to strengthen service outcomes for children and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and mental health needs (IDD/MH). The START Program is a person-centered approach that employs crisis planning, positive psychology and other evidence-based practices. We are seeking applicants who have experience working with people with IDD/MH and their families utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach. This position must be able to work in the office on a regular basis; some teleworking will be possible.


The Idaho Department of Health & Welfare is a drug-free workplace. In addition, successful candidates will be required to complete a criminal history background investigation. Employment is dependent upon satisfactory results of the investigation.
