Job description
The Die Cutting Operator will be responsible for operating a die cutting machine to cut materials to desired shapes and sizes, while meeting safety standards and production goals. This position requires an individual with sharp attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and adjust die cutting machine components to ensure accurate and consistent cuts.
- Verify that the materials are cut in accordance with customer specifications.
- Inspect parts for defects and make necessary adjustments to machine settings.
- Maintain die cutting machines and replace worn die cutting tools.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure production targets are consistently met.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience operating die cutting machines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and industrial machinery.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
