Position Summary
Part-time volunteer internship position at Girl Scouts of Connecticut in the Fund Development Department. This position will assist the Fund Development team with securing financial support from individual donors and community sponsors for GSOFCT annual fundraising appeals, such as, but not limited to, direct mail & online appeals, special events, and recurring donor program. Tasks include assistance with writing appeals, editing digital platforms, follow up outreach and phone calls to donors, vendors, and volunteers, assisting with donor acknowledgments/correspondence, and general duties to support the work of the Assistant Director of Fund Development.
This position is ideal for students majoring in Communications, Public Relations, Business, Marketing, English, or Nonprofit Studies.
