Responsibilities:

The Vice President, Supply Chain is responsible for the overall management, strategic direction, and financial success of Draper’s supply chain. Develops and implements the organizational strategy for the multiple disciplines that comprise the supply chain. Manages product transitions and market requirements while continually increasing the end-to-end supply chain flexibility to meet ongoing customer requirements and increase competitive posture. Designs, architects, develops, and deploys integrated supply chain solutions including supplier subcontracting, logistics management, material information, financial flows, and coordination of supply, manufacturing and delivery systems ensuring effective supply chain execution and better buying power allowing Draper to meet customers’ stringent quality, cyber, and counterfeit standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing the supply chain management function in connection with subcontract execution for Draper’s internal and customer needs, planning, small business administration, supplier due diligence and relationship management, Draper and customer property management and logistics, and related government regulations.
• Develops policies, procedures, and processes related to materials sourcing, production planning, purchasing and subcontracting, property management, logistics, and supplier management while ensuring adherence to Draper policy and government regulation.
• Ensures projects are completed on-time and meets customer expectations while complying with Draper policy and government regulations.
• Responsible for maintaining Draper’s approved supply chain related business systems and plans.
• Sets supply chain performance and quality standards.
• Negotiates major contracts and coordinates purchasing activities with engineering and program offices to maintain inventories at planned levels.
• Drive innovation supply chain strategies across five lines of business
• Leads multiple teams of directors/managers. Ensures appropriate talent selection, organization, and leadership for the supply chain organization.
• Develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships with internal and external customers.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree in related discipline 15+ years directly related work experience
• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibilty is required.
• Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations and the understanding of the role of procurement in complex industries.
• Experience leading procurement efforts in a DOD contracting environment
• Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS regulation to include, but not limited to acquisition, property management, small business, materials management, counterfeit parts and Cyber Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).
• Knowledge of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation) and EAR (Export Administration Regulation).
• Comprehensive understanding of subcontractor solicitations and bid analysis/process.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve contractual and performance issues with suppliers
• Knowledge of AS9100D quality certification process.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

Preferred Qualifications :

• Masters Degree in related discipline and 10+ years in Aerospace & Defense industry preferred.

Security Requirement :

• Current in scope Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
