Finance Manager Opportunity - Growing Company!
We're searching for a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to play a key role with a well established and growing client. You'll go beyond routine tasks, providing strategic analysis and leadership to support our continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance: Implement and support financial policies and procedures for accurate reporting.
- Analyze financial data: Identify trends and provide insights to inform sound decisions.
- Guide cost analysis: Establish and enforce procedures for efficient cost management.
- Support month-end closing: Assist with account analysis and reconciliation for timely reporting.
- Offer technical expertise: Provide accounting guidance and support, including potential involvement in M&A activities.
- Collaborate with auditors: Work with internal and external auditors to maintain accuracy and implement recommendations.
- Manage budgets: Develop and monitor budgets to achieve financial goals.
- Drive innovation: Support digital initiatives and implement finance-specific improvements.
- Lead and mentor: Supervise finance and accounts payable staff, providing coaching and development.
- Contribute to projects: Participate in special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance (Electrical, industrial, or distribution experience preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong accounting skills with proficiency in general ledger and problem-solving.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear data presentation.
- Leadership abilities to motivate and hold team accountable.
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace change.
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (bonus points for Eclipse ERP and GetPaid).
