Job description
Supervision of 5 to 10 project managers in the process of prospecting, business development and acquisition of new projects.The Role:Manage the prospecting activity for new projects; for 2024, the portfolio in the origination phase is forecasted at ~ 250 MWSupervise the wind and photovoltaic project development managers and accompany them on the ground for important meetings with local stakeholders: owners, operators and local elected representatives until the land and political situation is secured;Set your teams' objectives and do everything possible to help them achieve them; establish the prospecting strategy, the methodology for the risk committees No. 1 to enable the projects to move into the Development phase.Propose key actions to make sure origination targets are met;Coordinate inter-departmental relations in France and abroad for all aspects of prospecting, business development and the acquisition of new projects;The Individual:Engineering degree or 5 years' higher education, ideally with a specialization in renewable energy;At least 5 years' experience in land prospecting, business development and the promotion of new wind and/or photovoltaic projects is essential;Proof of successful experience acquired with a renewable energy operator in securing new wind and/or photovoltaic projects;Proven expertise in town planning regulations, legal concepts of land, a very good knowledge of the regional environment and the ability to quickly analyse the potential of a site in order to study the feasibility from a technical and administrative point of view;Ability to lead teams, both face-to-face and remotely;Ability to make strategic decisions in a high-stakes public context;Languages: French native language, fluent in English is an asset.Driving licence: Essential
