Store Opening Solutions is seeking a hands-on and highly skilled Senior Manager of Information Technology. In this role, you will be at the forefront of identifying, implementing, and maintaining our critical software systems and infrastructures. Your direct involvement will ensure that our employees have the tools they need to efficiently conduct business, and that our customers experience seamless interactions with Store Opening Solutions. This role will lead a small team of IT professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align our solutions with the company's strategic goals. Your expertise in enterprise application management and operational infrastructures will be instrumental in boosting operational efficiency and propelling organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities / Functions:
- Provide strategic leadership:
- Develop and execute the Information Technology vision and strategy that enable business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, facilitate the definition of business requirements and translation into actionable plans.
- Continuously evaluate, assess, and improve infrastructure solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage enterprise applications and related operational infrastructure:
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and support of enterprise applications and technical infrastructure solutions. This includes Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Financial Systems, and related infrastructures hosted on-premises and in the cloud.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, expenses, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and lead teams of employees and third-party consultants responsible for system implementations and on-going support.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Operations Management and Project Oversight:
- Assist teams in planning, executing, and monitoring enterprise application, infrastructure, and security projects ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are achieved.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope, deliverables, resource requirements, estimates, and plans.
- Ensure compliance with corporate level technology and security baselines.
- Responsible for monitoring and resolving infrastructure environments for uptime, performance, and SLA/OLA metrics.

- Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills in enterprise applications, infrastructure, and security domains.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills and stakeholder management skills at all audience levels.
- Motivated, hands-on, self-starter who acts with a sense of urgency, persistence, take-charge attitude, and minimal guidance.
- Able to engage others to understand business strategy, articulate options, evaluate tradeoffs and present recommendations.
- Strong desire to enable the business, reduce risk/costs, and innovate with the latest cost-effective solutions targeted at small/mid-sized companies.
Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)
- 12+ years’ experience with enterprise applications and operational support. At least 6 years in management-role.
- Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field is desired.
- Proven track record of leading small and mid-size enterprise application implementations and related infrastructure operations.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams as an enabler of the business.
- Demonstrated areas under key responsibilities and personal characteristics sections.
