The RPS Marketing Director works directly with the VP of Americas Marketing, Specialty, VP of Americas Strategic Initiatives and Communications, Executive and Sales Leadership to create and activate marketing strategies and campaigns to build the RPS brand and generate organic growth opportunities.

Focused primarily on defining marketing strategy and plan to drive organic growth opportunities, the position includes managing the divisional brand strategy and execution and creating and executing measurable marketing strategies and campaigns in support of identified marketing and sales goals. The RPS Marketing Director will manage the RPS Marketing Team and work closely with Gallagher centralized resources to deploy key marketing activities and programs, including thought leadership, lead generation campaigns, events, advertising, public relations and social media.

The RPS Marketing Director will identify ways to leverage data to create strategic marketing plans that will most effectively build awareness and preference for the RPS brand, generate new sales, and develop tangible ways to quantify marketing effectiveness and MROI.

• Development and management of RPS brand - ensuring brand strategies, priorities and activities align with business priorities and sales goals and connect with prospect and customers in differentiated, meaningful and measurable ways
• Management of RPS Marketing Team – including validation of all marketing strategies, initiatives and plans
• Management of RPS Marketing budgets
• Serving as the primary Marketing Functional Leader for RPS
• Collaborating with other Specialty Marketing and Functional Leaders to continually evaluate marketing performance and identifying new opportunities for growth and efficiency through increased use of data and analytics
• Reporting on Marketing effectiveness on a monthly basis

Required:

• Bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience required in insurance sales and management.

Highly Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, and 7+ years relevant experience in B2B marketing or marketing consulting
• Commercial insurance experience is required (wholesale experience a plus)
• This position will require in-office presence 2 -3 days per week and may require occasional travel (estimated 10 – 15%)
• Experience leading marketing projects and teams that resulted in increased brand visibility and sales leads
• Experience creating annual marketing plans
• Working experience of successful client management/relationship building
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience creating and handling integrated digital and traditional marketing strategies and plans incorporating paid, earned and owned media channels
• Experience leading a marketing team and working across several partners/products/services simultaneously while in a Leadership role
• Experience reporting on marketing effectiveness through dashboards, monthly or quarterly reports or other reporting mechanisms
• Marketing budget oversight and management
