Job Title: Instrumentation Technician
Location: Ada, MN, US (Onsite)
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary Range: USD $72,000 $100,000 per year
Job Profile Summary: The Instrumentation Technician inspects and maintains various electrical/electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, analyzers, measurement, control, and automation systems, and related equipment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Install, operate, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate/adjust, and maintain various equipment including calorimeters, chromatographs, telemetering systems, and more.
- Perform preventative maintenance and analytical testing on compressors/engines, drivers, and auxiliary equipment.
- Maintain electrical power circuits, switch gear, and power distribution.
- Install and maintain security/intrusion systems.
- Drive and ensure maintenance is complete on company vehicles.
- Maintain and/or prepare reports and/or records including maintenance and repair records, safety and environmental reports, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and more.
Education and Experience:
- None required.
- Experience in the use and function of tools and equipment applicable to the position.
- Experience and training related to gas processing fundamentals, computers and related software, governmental rules, regulations, and codes, company policies and procedures, reliability-based programs, and more.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of reciprocating or gas turbine engines, compressors, and electronic and processing equipment.
- Ability to apply addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and algebraic formulas.
- Ability to communicate and exchange written and verbal information and instructions.

Working Conditions/Environment:
- Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions.
Travel and Driving:
- Travel expected within an assigned area, and as required to other locations.
- Employee may be assigned a company vehicle requiring the applicable driver's license.
Non-negotiable Requirements:
- Electrical experience.
- High Voltage experience is a plus.
- Automation experience.
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Allen Bradley PLC experience.
- Calibration experience.
