Job description

Kaukauna Utilities is searching for a qualified candidate to fill the role of our IT Intern. The IT Intern will support the Operational and Information Technology Department in providing technical assistance, maintaining computer systems, and configuring hardware and software. The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues, assist with the implementation and documentation of new technologies, and provide support to team members and internal customers.

You will get to:

Create and track service desk tickets

Assign IDs to new technology assets

Enter asset information into database

Generate technology assets reports

Update network and fiber documents

Assist setting up workstations, peripherals and other network devices

Monitor network devices and servers for error alarms Transfer files as requested

Run devices functional tests

Perform other office related duties as required

Education and Experience Preferred:

Currently enrolled in an accredited two-year college or technical school in an IT or related program.
