Bookkeeper/Finance Clerk
Township of Schuylkill, PA
Schuylkill Township, a 2nd Class Township located in Chester County, PA is looking for a highly motivated, skilled Bookkeeper/Finance Clerk to provide administrative support to the Township Manager.
The Bookkeeper/Finance Clerk will be responsible for, including, but not limited to; bookkeeping, A/P, A/R, bank deposits and reconciliation, record keeping, monthly and annual reporting, data entry, and payroll. The Bookkeeper/Finance Clerk will assist with annual budget development, monitoring expenditures, and completing state and federal reporting. Assistance with mail, reception, phones is needed.
The successful candidate must have a demonstrated desire and willingness to work as a team; the ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner when responding to Township residents and outside agencies; the proficiency to learn new concepts and ideas in order to cross-train on other departmental duties; and be able to efficiently and effectively organize, fulfill, and proof completed assignments.
