Position Purpose: Responsible for all OpCo human resources (HR) activities including, but not limited to, talent acquisition, benefits, associate growth and development, associate relations and engagement. Interacts with all associates, PFG corporate office, PFG subsidiaries, and governmental and private agencies. Functions as a key team member of the OpCo Leadership team, reporting directly to the OpCo President.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: - Serve as coach to OpCo Leadership team and all management associates.
- Partner with leadership team and all managers to drive associate engagement activities.
- Lead talent acquisition for filling all vacancies, including compliance with all established guidelines and federal/state requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations.
- Advise management of fair and consistent application of all approved policies and procedures.
- Assess training needs within the OpCo and coordinate delivery of appropriate training.
- Function as an associate advocate by representing associates’ issues to management as appropriate.
- Partner with the management team in resolving associate issues by investigating concerns and sharing resolution alternatives.
- Lead New Hire Orientation and onboarding.
- Ensure benefits are explained to new associates and their enrollment is processed at appropriate time.
- Partner with OpCo Safety Leader to maintain fcompliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) regulations. Work with Safety Committee and building maintenance team on compliance.
- Supervisory responsibility for 1 direct report (HR Coordinator)
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
2 - 4 Years Human Resources, Business Administration or
related area
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors: Human Resources, Business Administration or related area
4 - 6 Years Human Resources, Business Administration or related area within foodservice industry. Supervisory experience.
