Oak Ridge Winery is a family owned and operated winery that strives to be a leader in the wine industry and to work with exceptional people who share our values. We produce many well-known brands from our family vineyards and purchased grapes from the Lodi appellation and beyond.

Job purpose
The National Accounts Manager (NAM) is responsible for sales goal execution, brand development and profitability in national accounts across all wholesale channels. Performance is monitored and measured directly against goals and conditions set forth annually by the Vice President of Global Sales (VPGS)

Duties and responsibilities
Account Development:
•  Identify and establish relationships with strategic trade partners in on premise and retail channels on a national and regional level.
•  Maintain a roster of key account decision makers, program review timing and process. Including:
o Request for Proposal on premise, common term for item review for authorizations on menu (limited time only, by the glass listing, and bottle placement on wine list) for sale to consumers to be consumed at site of purchase.
o NIR/SKURAT – retail item review process for submitting wines for consideration to be added to store schematics/modular for sale to consumers to be consumed elsewhere from point of purchase.
Account Management:
•  Intimate knowledge of customers business practices to develop tailored strategies to ensure maximum potential of portfolio for sales into and through trade customers.
o Secures commitment and metrics of success of secured programs with trade partners.
o Communicates secured programs and metrics of success to ORW RM team and distributor key account network.
o Collects and monitors compliance of confirmed programs in national accounts.
o Utilizes field sales organization to maintain pace of metrics and implements corrective tactics where appropriate to ensure program success (distribution compliance, wholesale pricing, replenishment, feature, and suggested retail pricing are levers of measurement)
o Leads all variants of trade partner and consumer tastings/educational experiences.
Business Management:
•  Owns the business management for national account including:
o Working with key internal stakeholders to build budget and manage goal.
o Metrics include: forecasting, inventory management, pricing/programming, T&E samples, incentives, DA support, wholesaler bill back invoices, etc.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: 5 years progressive work experience with demonstrated track record of sales progression.
Desired, but not mandatory: 3-tier distribution success within the adult beverage/wine segment
•  Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Syndicated Data, VIP.
•  Good driving record and valid driver’s license
•  Wine credentials such as CMS, SWE, WSET certifications. Desired, not required

Working conditions
Flexibility to work weekends and off hours when needed.
Ability to travel domestically via any mode of public transportation.
Physical requirements
Ability to lift and carry at least 40 lbs., or a 9.L case of wine
