An Assistant Manager at eegee’s will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. They assist with leading the team to ensure a positive culture that keeps our customers coming back for more! Your clear communication, work ethic, and attention to detail ensure a memorable eegee's experience for each guest. They assist with ensuring the restaurant meets the company's standards for quality, service, and profitability. They assist in managing the staff, inventory, finances, and compliance of the restaurant.

duties & responsibilities:

• Assist the general manager to ensure the restaurant adheres to company standards and policies, including but not limited to food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
• Lead, motivate, and train the restaurant staff to provide friendly and efficient service to customers.
• Assist in the management of the inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, and order items as needed.
• Handle customer complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist the general manager in preparing and reviewing budgets, reports, and performance indicators, as needed.
• Implement and enforce policies and procedures for the restaurant.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the general manager.
• Any other responsibility that aligns with the role.

knowledge, skills, & abilities:

• One year of experience in fast food or restaurant management or relevant experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and ownership skills
• Ability to respond to company communications.
• Ability to assume general manager's duties in their absence. 
• Ability to provide and document employee feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices.

minimum qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age. 
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Must have reliable transportation.

preferred qualifications:

• ServSafe certification
• AZ Food Handler Certificate
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QU (point of sale system).
