The 504 Facilitator coordinates, supports, and manages all aspects of 504 programming to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations pertaining to persons with disabilities.

Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.

• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure they are implementing the 504 Plan recommendations for success of students;

• Oversee development and implementation of 504 Plans on attainment of academic standards defined by the state;

• Collaborate with students/learning coaches on implementation of 504 plans;

• Evaluate and review student progress on a regular basis and annually;

• Facilitate 504 meetings timely and according to applicable protocols;

• Facilitate the revision of the 504 Plan goals as necessary and maintain 504 files, ensuring they are compliant with local and state regulations;

• Input student data in appropriate systems and maintain other student records as needed in a compliant manner;

• Participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings, professional development (virtual and face-to-face) and school committees;

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

Certificates and Licenses: None required.

Residency Requirements: Must be a Washington State Resident

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree in Education or similar area of study AND

• Three (3) years of 504/IEP related work experience, OR

• Equivalent combination of education and experience

• Understanding of applicable sections of the state and federal education laws and other pertinent regulations

• Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills both in-person and electronically

• Customer service oriented • Able to read data and determine what steps are needed to assist students academically and behaviorally, as a whole and on an individual basis

• Demonstrates the use of good judgment in decision-making

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as Internet research methods and report writing techniques; utilizes computer software associated with curriculum

• Ability to travel 20% time for work including to support in-person testing, meetings, and professional development

• Ability to clear required background check including obtain fingerprint clearance

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience teaching in an online (virtual) and/or brick and mortar environment

Compensation & Benefits:

Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

• Non-Exempt (hourly): Post annual hourly rate We anticipate the salary range to be $18.66 to $27.99. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
