Job Description:
As a Sorter at KK Sportscards, you play a pivotal role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our services. You are responsible for the careful handling and sorting of sports cards, ensuring that each card reaches its proper destination without compromise.
Responsibilities:
- Quality Sorting: Efficiently sort sports cards by team while prioritizing their safety and accuracy. Speed is important, but not at the expense of our high standards.
- Adherence to Protocols: Follow our established sorting protocols tailored to the specific types of cards you're handling to maintain consistent quality.
- Problem Resolution: In the event of a discrepancy or issue, consult with the Shipping Manager/Lead instead of guessing to resolve the problem correctly.
- Supply Management: Proactively report low supplies to the Manager/Lead to avoid shortages.
- Workspace Cleanliness: Maintain a tidy work area, free of food and drinks. Ensure your station is clean and restocked for the next shift.
- Phone Usage: Use phone privileges responsibly, limited to listening to music or podcasts, with the understanding that privileges can be revoked if abused.
- Break Management: Clock out for breaks and lunches, adhering to company policy.
- End-of-Day Protocol: Turn off all lights and ensure the room is ready for the following day at the end of your shift.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to work with a high level of detail.
- Proven record of following procedures and protocols.
- Effective communication skills to report issues and supply needs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, reflected in performance reviews.
