Overview
Planet DDS provides SaaS web and mobile products for dental offices and dental groups. The Director of Engineering Operations will drive the optimization of our software engineering processes and standards. They are a thought leader, an educator, and a consensus builder. They dive into critical details while keeping the big picture in mind. They balance theory and pragmatism. They keep in mind the customer, business, and product needs.

In addition to the operational responsibility, this is a strategic role that requires strong partnership with almost every function across the company.  They collaborate with other senior leaders across the company to translate information technology capabilities into strategic business decisions. They build a strong long-term technology strategy that aligns with the company strategic plan and influences the overall company direction. They drive accountability and metrics ownership to translate strategy into results. And they align and inspire the product engineering organization by effectively communicating and engaging the team in the strategy.
