We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrophysiology Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The Electrophysiology Technologist will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiac arrhythmias. Electrophysiology Technologist Position Details:
Type: 13 weeks contract
Shift Start Time: Day 4x10-Hours
Location: Everett, WA
Responsibilities
- Perform electrocardiograms (ECGs) and other cardiac diagnostic tests.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of electrophysiology equipment.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals during electrophysiology procedures.
- Monitor and analyze cardiac rhythms during procedures.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records.
- Provide patient education and support during procedures.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout procedures.
- Participate in quality control and assurance activities.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in electrophysiology.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree or certificate through an accredited Radiology Program or Cardiovascular Technology program required. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- CPR and ACLS certification required.
- ARRT(R) Registry and State Certification as Radiologic Technologist (RT) required; or, for CVTs, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) is required.
- Minimum of two years’ experience required.
- Experience with Phillips, Mckesson, EPIC desired
- Two professional references are required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced Hospital environment.
- Successfully complete and pass a background check and drug test.
