Apporto’s legacy competitors (VMWare, Citrix etc) are struggling to retool their legacy technologies for the cloud. Here’s an Example . This is creating a disruption in these companies' Channels which will create significant opportunities for Apporto.
Requirements
You will come onboard to focus on Channel Sales and will be measured on recruiting partners and the revenue generated by the partners.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in quota-carrying channel roles. Prior experience with the virtualization channel is preferred. Technical Proficiency: Ability to understand and articulate technical aspects of virtual desktop solutions and cloud computing to both technical and non-technical customers
- Strategic Planning: Experience in developing and implementing channel sales strategies.
- Partner Management: Proven track record in building and maintaining relationships with channel partners.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Work Environment: Willingness to work 100% remotely; little travel involved.
- Salary Expectations: Comfortable with an OTE between $200k - $250k DOE (50% base, 50% variable), with uncapped commissions
Preferred Qualifications
- DaaS/VDI Experience : Experience selling DaaS or VDI products. Vendors/products in this space include: Amazon WorkSpaces, Citrix Managed Desktops, Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop, VMware Horizon Cloud, itopia, Nutanix and Workspot.
- Analytical Skills : Strong ability to analyze market trends and sales data.
- Advanced Education : A Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Certifications : Industry-related certifications
- Training Skills : Experience in providing training and support to channel partners.
