Job description
Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduate or GED equivalent
Demonstrated communication skills
Working knowledge of insurance regulations, procedure and diagnosis coding, and automated insurance billing
Desired Qualifications:
Working knowledge of automated medical insurance billing including Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross and commercial
Working knowledge of medical collections
Coordinates activities related to accounting records, files insurance claims, and resolves insurance/account related problems. All incumbents may not perform all duties listed.
