Brown & Brown Insurance has an exciting opportunity available for an Benefits Consultant - Sales Executive for our team in Lafayette , LA .
Primary responsibilities include the sale of new Employee Benefits business and assistance in the renewal of Producer sold Employee Benefits Business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Must be able to demonstrate strong sales techniques and must be able to secure clients within first 4 to 6 months of employment.
Identifying prospects for business from existing and prospective clients.
Maintaining a consistently strong and active new business pipeline.
Developing new relationships with individuals responsible for insurance and Employee Benefits decisions at prospective clients.
Aggressively identifying and pursuing cross-selling opportunities amongst existing clients.
Obtaining referral leads from existing clients.
Maintaining consistent and high-quality touch points with clients and prospects.
Asist with Renewals for Producer's book of business.
Build and nurture relationships with clients and prospects.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
Exceptional telephone demeanor
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
1 – 3 years experience in a similar position, preferred not required
Life and Health Insurance License (Louisiana), preferred not required
CEBS, RHU, or GBA certifications, preferred not required
