Job description

Job Description of Compliance Case Manager:

Oversee and comply with Arkansas Developmental Disabilities Policies and programing guidelines to ensure quality outcomes, Department of Labor compliance, and internal documentation in all program areas. Responsible for case management of program participants along with their team.  Develop treatment plans, monitor goals and objectives.  Handles sensitive and confidential information.  Coordinate career exploration, self-advocacy, soft skills, mentoring, post-secondary, etc. Compliance with program policies and procedures. 

Duties and Responsibilities of Compliance Case Manager:

• Manage a case load of program participants.
• Facilitate planning for client activities/events plans/billing.
• Ensure that daily/weekly lesson plans are completed.
• Assist in the Development/implementation client plans.
• Monitor Case Managers record keeping-goal documentation, case notes, attendance, progress reports.
• Input into curriculum to keep current/fresh.
• Ensure that program plans, prescriptions, billing, are completed timely.
• Lead/Review Case Manager to ensure compliance with our regulatory entities.
• Communication of compliance requirements with others.
• Problem solving and task analysis.
• Community networking interactions, vendor exhibits when appropriate.
• Ability to achieve DDS approved transportation certification.
• Excellent attendance and dependability a must.
• Good decision skills a must.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications of Compliance Case Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferred from an accredited college or university with a background in Special Education, Human Services, Social Services/Work, Psychology, Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years continuous work experience in field of degree with a two-year minimum working with individuals with disabilities.
• Computer skills: Outlook, Excel, Power points, Word, Data entry.
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills. • Attention to detail a must.
• Be able to network and make presentations to groups/organizations.
• Organized and self-starter. • Display self-direction with initiative and extreme flexibility.
• Oversee/monitor program outcomes.  
• Value working in a team atmosphere.
• HIPAA privacy and handles sensitive and confidential information.
• Must be able to be physically able and alert to quickly respond to the needs of individuals with IDD

Ability to meet the essential functions of the job

Work Environment-
Clinical day program setting for Adult Day treatment.
