Program Highlights: - Hands-on Project Engagement: Dive into the heart of our active projects and gain practical experience working on real challenges within our organization. Your contributions will make a tangible impact as you apply your skills and learn in a real-world setting. Our Architecture interns will work alongside and in collaboration with the project team and professional Architects to develop high quality design and documents or drawings. The internship provides hands-on training in architecture techniques, procedures, and practices.
- Intern Group Project: Collaborate with a diverse group of interns across multiple disciplines on a comprehensive project designed to foster teamwork, communication, and innovative problem-solving. This collective effort ensures a rich learning environment where ideas flow freely, and knowledge is shared among peers.
- Engagement with Technical and Sustainability Committees: Be at the forefront of innovation! Contribute to projects that are shaping the future of our organization. From emerging technologies to sustainability initiatives, this internship will expose you to the current challenges and cutting-edge developments in the industry.
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform basic architectural assignments with oversight and direction from a staff mentor.
• Prepare and modify architectural documents using Revit.
• Collaborate with project team to solve technical and design problems in line with SMRT standards.
• Prepare 2D/3D presentations and design drawings.
• Attend client meetings and/or site visits alongside project staff.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an NAAB-certified Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architect Program
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Experience with REVIT
- Ability to read design documents
- Ability to communicate and collaborate in a team environment
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Ability to work hard and have fun at the same time
Salary Description
$19.00 per hour
