Job Description:
Role Overview:
This role will be responsible for supporting in-coming/in-process and final assembly inspections at the Menlo Park site.
This position will likely be extended to 3/31/23.Hours M-F 8 AM - 5 PM however that could be discussed for a slightly earlier start. Occasional overtime may be required.
Responsibilities:
(80%) Perform in-coming, in-process and finished device inspection and testing activities for production devices and new product development projects as per documented policies and procedures. Communicate any non-conformances to the team and work with the team to carry out required activities to disposition product.
(15%) Review and approve documentation (material inspection reports, lot history records, lot release records)
(5%) Participate in other quality system activities such as audit support, test method validations and improvements to procedures.
Education:
High school degree/GED.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years in the medical device or related industry.
Prior experience in Quality performing inspections.
Competencies:
Attention to detail.
Knowledge of FDA, GMP, ISO 13485 regulations.
Knowledge of and prior experience using a range of measurement and test techniques such as optical measurement equipment, hand tools, gages, pressure and force gage testing.
Ability to plan and schedule multiple projects and tasks
Effective written/oral communication skills
Team player
MS Office, MS Excel.

Position: Mostly sitting
Repetitive Motion: Mostly computer use
Chemical Exposure: No chemical exposure or cleaning.
Physical Risk (Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Occasional use of PPE may be required
