Regional Human Resources Business Partner - SEA
The Human Resource Business Partner role interfaces with station leadership, safety, training, and administrative staff to provide Human Resource support for personnel-related functions at both the corporate and station level. This role is responsible for aligning business objectives with leadership and McGee Team Members in all areas of the business. The position requires the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement when identifying and resolving team member related matters. The selected candidate will be a self-starting individual who possess resiliency and adaptability to adjust to change and is an action-based problem solver that exercises strong judgement with the effective delivery of HR policies, practices, and processes. This position reports directly to Regional HR Manager.

- Partner with the regional HR operational team to support aligned business organizations on a wide range of talent management and organizational business challenges (i.e. performance optimization, talent assessment, team member relations, change management, leadership coaching).
- Work with the regional HR functional teams and other HR departments to support and execute programs in team member engagement, career paths, succession planning, performance assessments, compensation planning, recruiting, retention, etc.
- Develops and builds relationships with team members to reflect a sustainable culture driven off mutual respect and trust.
- Coach and support station leadership with team member performance management issues, coaching conversations, investigations, and administration of progressive discipline.
- Effectively supports change management initiatives by communicating new, changing, and existing policies and procedures while enforcing and ensuring understanding and compliance.
- Owns corporate team member engagement programs, leads a group of team members within the stations to initiate activities focused on workplace culture and team member recognition.
- Analyze metrics and share findings with the business on trends and pulse of the organization to develop solutions, programs and policies (attrition, engagement, etc.).
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure secure handling of applicant and team member information as well as company data.
- Identify areas of opportunity to improve workplace environments and organizational culture
- Implements and supports various projects and initiatives to streamline HR processes by setting timelines and schedules, conducting research, analyzing data and making recommendations.
- Demonstrate and maintain open and honest communication creating an inclusive, engaging and high-performance culture that demonstrates McGee's values of Safety, Service, Integrity, Mutual Respect, Accountability, and Pride.
- Support recruiting activities, including hiring and onboarding events as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Must haves to join our team:
- Obtain and maintain an airport security clearance, customs seal, and/or USPS security clearance including background criminal history check, drug screen, and fingerprinting is required.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. or disclose their compensation or the compensation of other employees or applicants are also protected by law.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license and one of the following documents in order to obtain a Port Badge and US Customs Security clearance.
- Original or certified copy of a birth certificate
- Unexpired US Passport
- Permanent Resident Card
- Unexpired US Territory Passport and I-94
- Airport SIDA Badge Requirements Important update for non-crew employees working at an airport or maintenance hangar: Employees will be required to obtain a SIDA badge provided by the airport authority and maintain good standing in order to keep their SIDA badge. - Bachelor's degree in business, communication, human resources or related discipline preferred.
- 5 or more years of client facing human resources experience, with a minimum of 3 years of human resources business partner experience required, specializing in team member relations and/or labor relations or equivalent required.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulations, policies, and procedures, including collective bargaining provisions required
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to think and write analytically required.
- Strong organization and time management skills, and ability to maintain thorough and accurate records while meeting tight deadlines.
- Effectively problem-solve and think strategically to develop win-win solutions
- Positive, team-oriented and adaptable to a dynamic environment with flexibility to assist with special projects during high demand and based on operational needs.
Salary Range (if applicable):
The hiring range for this position is expected to be $90,000 - $100,000 per year . The current full salary range for this position is $78,300 - $117,400 per year
