Job description

We are looking for a responsible IT Configuration Lab Supervisor to oversee the workflow at our facility. This is a complex role. In addition to supervising the work of others, you will also take a hands-on approach with the day-to-day duties. The supervisor is also responsible for mentoring, resolving issues, and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management.
The ideal candidate will be a competent individual who will be able to guide and train employees. He/She will be well-versed in processes under the role’s responsibilities and will be results-driven and focused.
The goal is to ensure that operations are carried out productively to ensure customer satisfaction, profitability, and sustainable growth.
Requirements
+ Meeting Configuration, depot, warranty, and non-warranty Order deadlines
+ Driving department-level KPIs and business objectives
+ First-line support for the team for training, support, and process improvement
+ Providing escalated support to Clients regarding iT1 Lab services
+ Providing proactive feedback to employees in the form of routine meetings
+ Maintaining communications with the Sales Team, Consulting, and iT1’s Clients
+ Managing and prioritizing daily workload
+ Imaging laptops and desktops
+ Hardware and software installations and configurations
+ Troubleshooting desktop and laptop hardware and software issues
+ Bench testing refurbished devices such as PC, Monitors, switches, phones etc.
+ Desktop and Laptop repair
+ Server hardware configuration
+ Small office installs
+ Process documentation and technical documentation
+ SOP creation and management
Job Qualification Requirements:
+ 2+ Years’ leadership experience in a team lead or supervisor role
+ A+ or comparable experience
+ Excellent communication written and verbal skills
+ Working knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
+ Working knowledge of common desktop applications
+ Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop computer hardware
+ Knowledge of Autopilot and JAMF is a plus
+ Ability to work full-time
+ Occasional travel (Locally and U.S.) up to 25%
+ Dependable transportation for traveling to local sites.
+ Ability to multi-task
Physical Demands:
+ Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
+ Standing for long periods of time
+ Time spent in low postures (crouching, stooping, kneeling, bending)
+ Climbing (ramps, stairs, or ladders)
+ Sit at a computer for 8 hours per day
+ Keyboarding for 8 hours per day
+ Reaching Overhead
+ Near Vision (working with small objects or reading small print)
+ Speaking (communicating information to clients/coworkers)
+ Hearing Requirements (In person speech, telephone, other sounds)

Job Location: Mon – Fri; 9 AM – 5 PM onsite at the warehouse location in Tempe, AZ
