Sailor is a lauded neighborhood bistro in Fort Greene, helmed by Chef April Bloomfield and Gabriel Stulman’s Happy Cooking Hospitality.
We enjoy working with humans who are warm, detail-oriented, open to feedback, and enthusiastic about being part of a team that prioritizes quality service and mindful hospitality. Experience working in a fine dining setting As the adage goes: you never get a second chance to make a first impression. We’re looking for a Maitre d' to rise to that challenge, in both substance and style. The best candidates will have experience working in a fine dining setting in addition to empathy, an abundance of goodwill, and the facility to constantly and warmly communicate with guests and colleagues in pursuit of a smoothly running restaurant filled with happy people. Maitre d’ shifts start with guest outreach and reservation book management, and end after the last guests have been seated. We’re open for day time and dinner services Wednesday to Sunday.
