Job Title: Laboratory Supervisor
Location: On-site in Warren, MI
Salary: $90-$120k DOE
Requirements: At least 5+ years in automotive manufacturing/engineering within product development and validation activity, ISO procedures and requirements for lab activity, experience with Wet Lab equipment
We are a global automotive supplier of pump, valvetrain, transmission and electric drive components and systems. Due to company growth, we are adding a highly skilled and experienced Lab Supervisor to our brand new team. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, proven experience in product development and validation activity, and have the abilities to support, coordinate, and lead the testing and fluid laboratory as part of new product development.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Lab Supervisor, you will support, coordinate, and lead the testing and fluid laboratory development activities, as part of the New Product Development process.
- Coordination of internal hardware fabrication that is required to support development and customer deliveries.
- Documenting all related activities
- Provide routine product performance insights that assist in the optimization of product design
- Coordinate all lab activities:
- Calibration needs and tracking
- Repair needs of equipment
- Data Acquisition Standardization and Procedures
- Safety issues
- General housekeeping and organization of facility
- Interface with outside labs
- Drive standardization of lab equipment and consumables
- Design validation testing
- Process validation
- Identify test method improvements for accuracy, speed, and repeatability
