Job description
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Design Engineer to join our team. The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions and will be expected to demonstrate a high level of technical skill to ensure the success of our projects.
Onsite Elkhart, IN
Compensation: $75,000 to $100,000+ per year (depends on experience, education, etc.)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed designs for projects, utilizing the latest CAD tools and software.
- Create and modify schematics, drawings, and plans to meet specific design objectives.
- Integrate mechanical components with embedded systems.
- Develop comprehensive engineering documentation.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Develop test protocols and analyze data.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in machine design.
- Project continuous improvement experience.
- Strong level proficiency with CAD tools.
- Experience with PLC, GML, Servo Systems, and Robotics is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
