Aerotek is currently partnering with a company Lawrenceville, GA who are looking for Diesel Technicians in various levels from apprentice up to master diesel mechanics. Roles are looking to hire IMMEDIATELY!
Description:
Quality Service Repair is looking for a mechanic III to come in day one of be able to handle repairs of diesel trucks and trailers.
Truck repair responsibility:
- engine rebuild
- transmission work
- clutch repair
- electrical repair
- electrical troubleshooting
- diagnostics
- wheel bearing and seal
- brake repair
- oil changes
Trailer repair responsibility:
- body work
- door repair and replacement
- metal fabrication
- axle repair
- wheel bearing and seal
- brake repair
- refrigeration unit repair and install
- frame work
Skills:

Perform preventative maintenance on tractors and tanker trailers
Comply with all DOT laws/regulations
Prepare and complete documentation on maintenance computer system (Dossier )
Ability to diagnose and repair engines
Knowledge of various semi-tractors and engines
Experience in diagnostic and repairing of emissions systems
Knowledge of factory diagnostic software
