Job description
CNC Programmer Summary : As a CNC Programmer your primary responsibilities would be centered around writing programs for computer-numeric controlled 3 and 4 axis mills and lathes.
Shift : Monday-Thursday: 4-10 hour shifts with a 3 day weekend
Responsibility Summary – CNC Programmer :
- Write CNC programs through utilization for Fanuc Macro B, MasterCam and Autodesk Solidworks.
- Create documented procedures for machine set-ups and ensure the process is followed accurately.
- Drive continuous improvement to increase throughput and reduce downtime.
- Perform quality checks on produced parts to ensure programs are functioning as intended.
- Train new staff members on CNC machine setup and operation.
- Tool new fixtures as needed.
Qualification Summary – CNC Programmer:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of CNC programming and set-up experience
- Software proficiency in MasterCam and Solidworks.
- Knowledge of G+M codes and GD&T
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
Preferred Qualifications – CNC Programmer:
- Secondary education in a machining related field of study
- Experience with Vericut
- Fanuc Macro B knowledge
