Job description
Process Technician 2nd shift Chesterfield, MI $25.75 per hour Direct Hire Position Summary Support Production to Achieve Quality and Productivity Goals by Using Proper Processing Standards, Procedures, and Practices to Monitor, Adjust and Control the Molding Process.
Responsibilities v Maintaining the Injection Molding Process Set Up Sheets.
v Maintain the Molding Machine Calibration Program.
v Troubleshooting Mold Tooling and Machine Issues.
v Part Quality Checks and Proper Documentation.
v Follow All Standard Procedures on Control Plans and Scrap Limits on QRQC Sheets.
v Mold Tool Cleaning and Preventative Maintenance.
v Communication of Part, Tooling, Press, or Material Issues with Leader and Supervisor.
v Part Packing and Labeling as required.
v Other Tasks assigned by Shift Supervisor.
Skill Requirements v Technical understanding of Injection Molding Process.
v Regular and predictable attendance.
v Strong professional and interpersonal skills.
v Ability to interact with co-workers, customers, vendors and visitors in a respectful and professional manner.
v Proven ability to work independently as well as multi-task.
v Strong organization skills.
v Proficient computer skills and abilities with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
v Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
v Ability to work any shifts, weekends, as well as over-time on short notice.
Education and Experience Requirements v High school diploma or equivalent experience
v Knowledge of Injection Molding Process Optimization (Systematic Injection Molding)
v Associates Degree in Technology preferred but not mandatory in lieu of qualified experience
v Injection Mold tool repair experience is a plus
Licensing or Special Certification Requirements v Statistical Process Control (SPC) as required
