Job description
ATARID Specialist Recruiters to the Property and Asset Management Industry are seeking experienced candidates on behalf of our client for:
Chief Operating Officer - experience in affordable housing is required.
Effective 'hands on' leader experienced in developing strategies and infrastructure for a highly acquisitive, growth focused company with assets across the northeast.
Responsibilities:
-Devise and implement infrastructure, business strategies, plans and procedures for the overall operational performance of the company.
-Establish operational policies and procedures to promote company vision.
-Oversee day-to-day operations of affordable housing company by collaborating with Executives to ensure operational success.
-Oversee planning, maintenance, and efficiency.
-Prepare operational reports and management reports.
-Ensure compliance on local, state, and federal level.
-Drive sustainable growth.
-Head up outreach and business relations.
-Establish and maintain relationships with local and federal agencies for growth opportunities.
-Reporting to and assisting the President in all aspects of the business.
Qualifications & Benefits
-10+ years demonstrated success in affordable housing operations of a multi-state management company as Chief Operating Officer or similar executive role.
-Experienced in developing strategies and infrastructure to ensure operational excellence.
-Demonstrated success building infrastructure - IT, HR, Asset Management etc.
-Effective communicator, resourceful, analytical with strong understanding of performance metrics.
-Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and public speaking skills.
-Proficient in Office 365, and experience using property management software.
-Travel - as required.
Location: Hackensack, NJ - Open to candidates willing to relocate.
Compensation: Commensurate with seniority of role and experience, bonus plus benefits.
