Description
SharePoint developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint solutions for an organization. Candidate must possess a working knowledge of the principles of information, data, records and knowledge management. Candidate in this position will address the tactical and strategic managment of information and data management needs in support of both mission and business processes.
Specific duties include:
- Creation and configuration of web parts, forms, and templates to enhance user experience.
- Document Management:
- Establishes and maintains document management best practices within SharePoint.
- Ensures proper version control, metadata tagging, and content organization.
- Review system/application capabilities to include legacy, commercially available, agency provided
- Maintain and update SharePoint applications.
- Provide systems training to staff and customers
- Mentor and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
- Analysis of user requirements, processes, procedures and problems to improve / support business processes
- May serve as a team, project or task lead
- Participates in special projects as required.
- Strong technical skills, including experience with user provisioning, user management, access control, and security
- Strong soft skills, such as communication, problem-solving, and teamwork
Qualifications
- HS and seven (7) years or more experience: Bachelors and two (2) years of more experience
- Detail orientated.
- K nowledge of:
- Microsoft SharePoint - knowledge of the platform's features, functions and administration tools
- MS Office software
- Project management and scheduling concepts and practices.
- Teaching methods and techniques, both one-on-one and in classroom environments
- XML, .NET, SQL, and C#.
- Ability to:
- Solve complex software issues.
- Manage projects
- Organize and manage multiple and complex tasks.
- Work independently.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Must have a TS/SCI ability to obtain a CI poly
- Willingness to obtain and keep current DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification to be considered for employment; either CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ CE, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), OR CCNA-Security. CompTIA Security+ CE is the preferred certification
Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
